Wike Commends Abuja's Gomani-Yangoji Road Development

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, praised the development of the Gomani-Yangoji road project in Abuja during an inspection on Thursday. This project is part of a wider infrastructure drive initiated by President Bola Tinubu's administration to enhance rural connectivity and mitigate rural-urban migration.

Wike noted that the road project, which spans 13 kilometers, is being managed by a firm awarded the contract for the A2 Pai road project. He reported that the work on the road has reached an advanced stage, with drainage work completed at 90 to 95 percent.

The project is scheduled for inauguration during activities marking President Tinubu's third anniversary in office in June. Wike commended the quality of work being delivered and the adherence to agreed timelines, expressing satisfaction with the progress made in developing underserved communities across the Federal Capital Territory.
