NLC Rejects Court Decision Against FCT Workers, Reveals Next Move

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has expressed dissatisfaction with a recent court ruling against workers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The court, on Tuesday, issued an injunction compelling FCT workers to suspend their ongoing strike action.

Benson Upah, the NLC Acting Secretary, criticized the court's decision, stating that it failed to consider the injustices faced by Nigerian workers. The NLC decried the ruling as unjust and urged workers to remain resolute in their demands.

The NLC also warned against any attempts to weaken the resolve of the striking workers. The statement issued by the NLC highlighted the need for justice and fair treatment of workers, emphasizing the risks involved in disregarding workers' rights.

The NLC called on relevant institutions and individuals to respect labor laws and ensure the implementation of workers' rights.
