Winners Receive N12m Cash Prize at 2025 Obasa Games, Plans for Football Academy Revealed

The 2025 Obasa Games awarded winners a total of N12 million in cash prizes across different sports, including chess, scrabble, table tennis, ayo, olopon, boxing, athletics, and football. The event, chaired by Abdulganiyu Vinod Obasa, aimed to engage youth and expand sports reach in Lagos, particularly within the education district.

Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, the Lagos State Assembly Speaker, disclosed plans to launch an Agege football league academy to enhance local sports facilities and engage the community.
