Woman Loses ₦3 Million from Access Bank After Dubai Trip

A woman who had traveled to Dubai to seek better financial opportunities returned to Nigeria to find that her ₦3 million, which she had saved in her Access Bank Nigeria account since 2022, was missing. She stated that she had left the money in her account while pursuing her hustle abroad.

Upon her return, she contacted Access Bank to inquire about the safety of her funds. The bank requested documentation, including a utility bill, and assured her that there were no ongoing transactions on her account.

However, she later discovered that from October 2025, unauthorized withdrawals had depleted her account. By the time she investigated, nearly all of her funds were gone.

The bank informed her that the matter was under investigation and provided her with a beneficiary's details, which she was advised to report to the police.
