RWUS Backs APC Candidate Kingsley Chinda in Rivers

Rivers Women Unite for Sim (RWUS), a political pressure group loyal to Rivers State Governor Siminialayi Fubara, has declared support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Hon Kingsley Chinda, and all APC candidates. This decision aligns with Governor Fubara's earlier choice to return to the political family that produced him as governor.

Convener Sotonye Toby-Fulton made the announcement during a monthly prayer meeting, urging women to accept the decision for the sake of peace. She emphasized the importance of unity among the women and warned against defaming the group or its leaders.

A member of the group, Adata Bio-Briggs, expressed satisfaction with the governor's move, believing it would sustain peace in the state. Another leader, Mrs Atonye Green, praised the governor for his support of women in Rivers State, stating that his decision to return to Nyesom Wike is beneficial for the state.
