Rivers Women Unite for SIM Supports Governor Fubara

Women gathered under the Rivers Women Unite for SIM (RWUS) during their monthly prayer meeting on Thursday at the Ecumenical Centre in Port Harcourt to reaffirm their support for Governor Siminalayi Fubara's political direction. Participants from all 23 local government areas of Rivers State prayed for peace, stability, and national progress.

Amaopuorubo Sotonye Toby Fulton encouraged continued commitment to prayers, stating their collective intercession has helped avert violence in the state. She reaffirmed RWUS's loyalty to Governor Fubara and the group's commitment to enhancing women's economic fortunes through skills acquisition and trade enhancement programs.

Dr. (Mrs.) Queen Karibi Botoye delivered a message urging women to remain hopeful despite challenges, while Barr. (Mrs.) Adata Bio-Briggs emphasized the organization's focus on empowering women with practical skills. Over 780 women participated in a recent skills acquisition program, reflecting RWUS's dedication to fostering self-reliance and sustainable development across Rivers State.
