Yobe State to Create 5,000 Jobs with New Trailer Park Development

Yobe State government, led by Ahm Buba Kyari, is building a trailer motor park in Yobe State to enhance economic activities and generate revenue. The park, with a capacity for 500 trailers, aims to become a major logistics hub, creating 5,000 direct jobs and several indirect employment opportunities.

Equipped with modern facilities like accommodation blocks, administrative offices, warehouses, workshops, fire service stations, and security outposts, the park covers 86,000 square meters. The state government plans to form a public-private partnership to manage the truck transit park.
