Young Progressives Party Expels Anambra Lawmaker for Supporting Soludo

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) expelled lawmaker Peter Uzokw for openly backing Chukwuma Soludo of the Progress Grand Alliance (APGA) in the Anambra governorship race. The decision was announced by YPP's national public secretary, Martin Egbeola, following a video where Uzokw declared support for Soludo.

The YPP leadership condemned Uzokw's actions as sabotage against the party, leading to his immediate expulsion for violating the party's constitution. Uzokw's false claims and misleading statements about YPP's leadership and candidacy further fueled the expulsion.
