Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer Urges Soludo, Obi to End Feud

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has called for an end to the feud between Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo. Ejimakor stated that their conflict is politically unproductive for both individuals and the Igbo community.

The disagreement began when Obi asserted that Anambra State was debt-free at the conclusion of his governorship, while Soludo's administration countered that Obi's tenure left behind outstanding loans, salary arrears, and pension debts. Soludo's government claimed to have cleared approximately N22 billion in gratuity arrears owed to retired state and local government employees and teachers.

Ejimakor emphasized that the feud would not influence the outcome of the 2027 presidential election and urged both leaders and their supporters to focus on governance and campaigning instead of personal disputes.
