Activist Slams Delta CP for Lawless Tinted Glass Enforcement Amid Legal Challenges

Activist Israel Joe criticized Delta State Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Abaniwonda, for ordering the enforcement of tinted glass permits, labeling the move as lawless. Despite pending legal challenges from the Nigerian Bar Association and the IGP in Abuja, CP Abaniwonda directed the enforcement to commence on October 2.

Joe expressed disappointment over the decision, questioning its legality and constitutionality. He emphasized the need for the police to respect the rule of law and maintain the status quo until the legal issues are resolved.

The activist highlighted concerns about potential oppressive tendencies in the enforcement of the tinted glass policy in Delta State.
