Atiku Abubakar Critiques Tinubu's Administration's Response

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, responded to a statement from President Bola Tinubu's administration, which he deemed as an attack on his character. In a statement from his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku accused the Presidency of choosing insults over transparency and failing to address significant public concerns.

He stated that the government's reliance on personal attacks indicated a lack of substantial answers to pressing issues. Atiku clarified that questioning matters in public records should not be seen as an attack on Nigeria's sovereignty.

He criticized the administration for reviving old allegations against him instead of providing factual responses. Atiku also pointed out the contradiction in seeking foreign investment while condemning international scrutiny.

He urged the government to move away from combative rhetoric and offer clear, factual explanations to the public, asserting that electoral victories do not negate the public's right to demand accountability.
