Quadri Yusuf Defends Titles at Prime Atlantic Squash

Quadri Yusuf retained his titles in the senior men's category at the Prime Atlantic Squash Tournament, overcoming Giwa in a five-set final with a score of 3-2. This marks Yusuf's second consecutive victory in this category.

In the U19 senior men's final, Yusuf replicated his achievement by defeating Giwa again. Loveth Balogun edged out Zainab Ishola 3-2 in a close contest for the U19 women's final.

Rofiatu Abdulazeez successfully defended her senior women's title with a convincing 3-0 victory over Misturah Durosinlorun. Yusuf described his victory as special, noting the difficulty of defending a title and the hard work that led to his success.

Giwa acknowledged Yusuf's superior performance and expressed determination to return stronger after the loss. Ayo Otuyalo, managing director of Prime Atlantic, praised the tournament's competitiveness and the growth of squash in Nigeria, while Tomi Falas, chairman of the Lagos State Squash Association, commended the players, coaches, and sponsors for their contributions to the championship's success.
