Yusuf and Abdulazeez Retain Titles at Squash Tournament

Yusuf retained his title at the Prime Atlantic Squash Tournament, securing his 19th senior men's title by defeating Giwa in a closely contested final, finishing with a score of 3-2. This victory marks his second consecutive win at the tournament, showcasing his resilience and competitive spirit.

Yusuf expressed satisfaction with his performance, acknowledging the challenges faced during the match and the evolution of his rivalry with Giwa. Rofiath Abdulazeez also defended her title in the senior women's category, winning 3-0 against Misturah Durosinlorun.

Loveth Balogun claimed the women's 19 crown with a 3-2 victory over Zainab Ishola in a tightly fought final. Ayo Otuyalo, the managing director of Prime Atlantic, praised the tournament's growth and the high level of competition, indicating a bright future for squash in Nigeria.

Tomi Falas, chairman of the Lagos State Squash Association, commended the players' performances and the tournament's organization.
