NDC Group Criticizes Zamfara Governor Over Insecurity

The Integrity Group, a support group of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Zamfara State, has publicly criticized Governor Dauda Lawal for what it describes as poor leadership. In a statement issued by the group's chairman, Muhammad Lawal, on Tuesday in Gusau, the group alleged that the state government has failed to fulfill its promises to the people.

They highlighted issues of insecurity and economic hardship that have significantly affected the state. The Integrity Group expressed its role as critics of the current state government, stating that these unfulfilled promises have contributed to the challenges faced by the residents.

Furthermore, the group warned against potential election rigging in the upcoming 2027 general elections, asserting that they would closely monitor the electoral process across Zamfara State to ensure it is conducted without malpractice.
