NDC Condemns Terror Attacks in Zamfara State

The Zamfara state chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Talata Mafara and Bungudu local government areas. In a statement issued on Sunday and signed by publicity secretary Alkassim Mustapha Kayatawa, the party expressed deep shock and sorrow over the incidents.

The NDC reported that gunmen killed several farmers in the communities of Sauna and Ruwan Gora in Talata Mafara, describing the victims as hardworking citizens who were ruthlessly murdered by bandits. Additionally, several individuals sustained severe injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

In a separate incident in Bungudu local government area, terrorists invaded the area and abducted the sitting local government chairman, taking him to an unknown location in the bush. The NDC called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal to take immediate action to end banditry in the state.
