KACRAN Condemns Kaduna Killings, Urges Peace Roadmap

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN), led by National President Hon. Khalil Mohd Bello, condemned the recent killings in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The association expressed alarm over the increasing incidents of cattle rustling, kidnapping, and attacks on farmers and pastoralists across the North West and North Central regions. KACRAN described these attacks as barbaric and a threat to Nigeria’s food security and national unity.

Bello lamented the violence against innocent citizens, particularly farmers, which undermines agricultural production. The association emphasized the need for dialogue to resolve disputes between farmers and pastoralists and rejected the stigmatization of Fulani pastoralists.

KACRAN called for an immediate cessation of hostilities by bandits and armed groups and urged the Federal Government, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to adopt its National Peace Roadmap. This roadmap includes community-based solutions to insecurity, prioritizing dialogue, protection of grazing reserves, and engagement with repentant bandits.
