Ogun 5km Race to Feature 1,000 Women Participants

The Ogun 5km race, scheduled for tomorrow, aims to promote health awareness among women, with 1,000 participants already registered. The event will commence at 8 AM, starting from Sapon and concluding inside the MKO Abiola Sport Arena.

Yetund Johnson, Managing Director of Brussel Sport Management, expressed gratitude to partners and stakeholders for their support. The Ogun State Commission of Sport, represented by Wasiu Isiaka, emphasized the importance of collaboration in sports development.

Prizes totaling N1,000,000 will be awarded to the top three finishers, with N500,000 for first place, N300,000 for second, and N200,000 for third. The event, now in its fourth edition, has seen increased participation and aims to deliver a memorable experience with adequate water stations and entertainment along the route.

Preparations are in place to ensure a smooth event, reflecting the growing impact of the initiative.
