Ukraine Offers Drone Defense Support to 11 Countries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that 11 countries have requested Ukraine's help to counter Iranian drone launches, particularly in the context of retaliatory strikes from the U.S. and Israel across the Middle East. Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's advanced drone defense capabilities, which have been developed to fend off nightly barrages of Iranian-style drone attacks, particularly those launched by Russia.

While he did not specify the countries involved, he noted that Ukrainian drone experts are already en route to the Middle East within the week. Zelensky proposed a swap involving Ukraine's drone interceptors, designed to intercept incoming attack craft mid-air, in exchange for assistance.

According to data from the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukraine has successfully intercepted and shot down 80 percent of incoming Russian drones, utilizing a combination of inexpensive drone interceptors, electronic jamming tools, anti-aircraft guns, fighter jets, and helicopters to defend against Russian attacks.
