Germany to Supply 5 More Missile Interceptors to Ukraine

Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced on Thursday that Germany will deliver five more PAC-3 missile interceptors to Ukraine, increasing the total number of interceptors donated to 30. The PAC-3 Patriot systems are among the main weapons supplied by Western nations to assist Ukraine in its defense against Russia's invasion.

Pistorius made this announcement during a meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group in Brussels, highlighting the critical role these systems play in saving lives. He noted that the approval for the Patriot systems has not yet been granted by the national government but expressed optimism that the target of delivering 30 interceptors, including the additional five, will be achieved.
