137,000 Ebonyi Health Insurance Beneficiaries Back Nwifuru

On a recent endorsement rally, 137,000 beneficiaries of the Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency (EBSHIA) expressed their support for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru's bid for a second term. The event took place at the Christian Ecumen Centre and was marked by displays of placards bearing the governor's portrait.

Key officials, including the Executive Secretary of EBSHIA, Dr. Divin Okemefunna Igw, and the Chairman of the EBSHIA Board, Barr.

Ogechi Ogbaga, commended Nwifuru for prioritizing healthcare development in the state. They noted that the health insurance scheme has significantly improved access to quality healthcare services, saving countless lives.

Dr. Igw revealed that the program has benefited 137,000 individuals, including 29,000 pregnant women, covering treatments for various health conditions.

The officials expressed confidence in the governor's leadership and the positive impact of the health interventions on vulnerable populations in and outside Ebonyi State.
