15-Year-Old Serial Robbery Suspect Arrested in Gombe State for Multiple Thefts

The Gombe State Police Command arrested a 15-year-old boy, Abubakar Aliyu, from Tudun Wada Shamaki Quarter for his involvement in multiple theft cases across the Federal Low Cost Area in Gombe metropolis. The arrest followed a swift investigation into robbery reports on October 15.

The police spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest on October 22, revealing the recovery of several stolen items, including iPhones, laptops, and school bags. The suspect confessed to the crimes during interrogation.

Efforts are ongoing to apprehend his accomplices. The Police Commissioner, Bello Yahaya, commended the officers for their prompt response, describing the arrest as a significant breakthrough in the fight against violent crime in the state.
