18 Ships Discharge Petroleum Products at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) reported that 18 vessels are currently discharging a variety of petroleum products and goods at major ports in Lagos, including Apapa, Lekki, and Tin Can Island. This update was issued on Saturday, February 22.

The ships are offloading a mix of commodities, which includes bulk fertilizers, general cargo, bulk sugar, petrol, bulk urea, and gypsum. Additionally, 46 vessels carrying petroleum products and food items are scheduled to arrive at Lagos ports on the same day.

The NPA noted that these vessels are expected to deliver a wide range of consignments, including general cargo, bulk urea, wheat, empty containers, crude oil, refined crude, gypsum, truck bulk goods, pallets, and salt. Seven ships have already reached the port and are awaiting berth approval, with the laden cargo consisting of bulk urea, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, and general merchandise.
