18 Ships Discharging Petroleum Products at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) reported that 18 ships are currently discharging petroleum products at Lagos ports, specifically at Apapa, Lekki, and Tin Island Port. This operation took place on Saturday, February 22.

The NPA detailed that the ships are discharging a variety of cargo, including bulk fertilizer, sugar, gasoline, urea, gypsum, and other goods. Additionally, 46 ships laden with petroleum products and food items are expected to arrive at Lagos ports on the same day.

Among the expected shipments are general cargo, bulk urea, bulk wheat, and empty containers for crude oil. The NPA also noted that seven ships have already arrived at the port and are waiting to berth, carrying bulk urea, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, and other general cargo, including petrol.
