190 Players Compete for N8.1m in Prime Atlantic Squash

The Season 4 Prime Atlantic Squash Tournament commenced at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, featuring 190 players, which includes 125 male players and 65 female players across senior and under-19 categories. The total prize money for the tournament is N8.1 million, with the winners in the male and female senior categories each set to receive N500,000, while the winners in the girl category will take home N50,000.

Tomi Falas, the chairman of the Lagos State Squash Association, noted a significant increase in participation this year, with players from nine states, including Lagos, Ogun, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Kwara, Abia, Rivers, and Oyo, competing. Falas expressed optimism about the tournament's growth and the emergence of new players, anticipating strong competition and potential upsets throughout the event.
