Boy Oyerind Praises Standards at Prime Atlantic Squash Tourney

Boy Oyerind, the immediate past president of the Nigeria Squash Federation, commended the improved standards of play at the fourth edition of the Prime Atlantic Squash Tournament held at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. Speaking during the second round matches, Oyerind noted that the tournament, which began on June 22 and will conclude on June 27, serves as a key platform for talent development.

He observed significant improvements in the quality of match performances among young players compared to previous editions, indicating growth in the sport. Oyerind's remarks highlighted the hard work and training of the players, particularly the junior competitors, who have shown remarkable progress.

The tournament has also seen an increase in participation, which has contributed to the elevated standards of play. Several players have secured their places in the quarter-finals, including Temiloluwa Adegok, Samuel Nduka Uba, and defending champion Tayo Oyinlomo, among others.
