Lamido Denies Withdrawing Court Case Against PDP, Calls Reports Fake News

Former Jigawa State Governor, Lamido, addressed rumors of withdrawing a court case against PDP to enable the party's national convention in Ibadan, labeling the reports as false. He emphasized his commitment to pursuing legal rights within the party.

The court had ruled in favor of the Ibadan convention, denying claims that he met Oyo State Governor Makinde to withdraw the case. INEC also condemned the misleading reports and affirmed that the court order prohibiting the convention remains in place.
