Bamisayemi Resigns from APC Ahead of 2026 Elections

Folorunso Oladoyin Bamisayemi, a former Osun State Commissioner for Education, has officially resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as of June 1, 2026. In a resignation letter addressed to the APC ward chairman of Kere Ward 09 in Ife South Local Government Area, Bamisayemi stated that his decision to relinquish his membership was immediate, although he did not provide specific reasons for his departure.

This announcement follows a reflective post he made on Facebook regarding recent political developments within the APC in Osun State. Bamisayemi expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of the party at both state and federal levels.
