The standout transaction was the £125 million acquisition of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, matching the British transfer record. City also signed Elliot Anderson for £116 million from Nottingham Forest and Ayyoub Bouaddi for about £86 million from Lille.

Iliman Ndiaye joined from Everton for a fee that could rise to £65 million. Chelsea responded to Fernandez's departure by acquiring Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for £117 million.

Liverpool bolstered their squad with Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial £107 million, potentially rising to £123 million with add-ons. Tottenham Hotspur made headlines by breaking their transfer record with Sandro Tonali's £100 million signing from Newcastle United, alongside other significant acquisitions.
