D’Tigress FIBA Women’s World Cup Preparation

D’Tigress head coach Rena Wakama has announced the final 12-player squad for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Germany, with Amy Okonkwo as captain. Nigeria is in Group B and will begin their campaign against the Republic of Korea on September 4.

D’Tigress, Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, has arrived in Berlin for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup. They completed their final training camp in Zaragoza, Spain, and will begin their campaign against South Korea on Friday.
