Adebutu Promises Border Development for Ogun Communities

Oladipupo Adebutu, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, expressed concern over the neglect of communities along the Ogun-Lagos border. Speaking at the Ogun West Governorship Campaign Flag-Off in Ipokia Local Government Area, he promised to create a border development commission if elected in 2027.

Adebutu highlighted the poor infrastructure, lack of access roads, potable water, and health centers in these areas. He emphasized the need for local government autonomy and direct allocation of funds to grassroots communities.

Adebutu also assured that he would prioritize the welfare of workers and pensioners, ensuring regular payments and addressing outstanding obligations. He condemned fraudulent practices in cooperative deductions and urged voters to avoid being swayed by greed during elections.
