Analyst Critiques Nwifuru's Governance in Ebonyi State

Public affairs analyst Pascal Oluchukwu criticized Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru regarding his performance and potential re-election in the 2027 general elections. Oluchukwu stated that Nwifuru has not achieved sufficient progress to justify a second term.

He made this statement on Thursday, pointing out that despite the allocation of funds from the federal account over the past three years, many projects remain incomplete or abandoned. Oluchukwu specifically mentioned the Vanco Flyover Tunnel and a large swimming pool as examples of visible projects under Nwifuru's administration.

He also noted that the ICT University of Oferekpe and staff quarters for civil servants are only partially completed, while schools across the state are in disrepair. Oluchukwu argued that the APC's governance has not met the expectations of the Ebonyi people, suggesting that Nwifuru's administration has not effectively utilized the substantial financial resources allocated to the state.
