APC's Adeola to Deliver 60 Boreholes in Ogun State

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, is set to deliver 60 boreholes aimed at providing potable water to communities across the three senatorial districts of Ogun State. This initiative was detailed in a statement by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Adeola, made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Friday.

The water supply projects are ongoing and at various stages of completion, including site assessment, surveying, drilling, casing, pump installation, and testing. Completion is anticipated within the next 10 days, as contractors have been fully mobilized.

The distribution includes 21 boreholes for Ogun West, 20 for Ogun Central, and 19 for Ogun East, with specific local government areas such as Yewa South, Abeokuta North, and Ado-Odo/Ota receiving the highest numbers. Adeola emphasized that the boreholes will be powered by generators for efficiency and aims to serve both domestic and economic purposes, complementing healthcare programs.

He has previously completed similar projects across Ogun State.
