APC's Yari Promises Fulfillment of Campaign Pledges

On Sunday, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, assured Nigerians that the ruling party would fulfill its campaign promises as it prepares for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Yari made this statement upon his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja from an overseas trip, where he was welcomed by party supporters and associates.

He emphasized the APC's commitment to the promises made during the 2023 presidential campaign, stating, “I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we made during the campaign, we shall keep.” Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, expressed gratitude for the support shown by the crowd and urged continued backing for President Tinubu. He also expressed confidence that the APC would remain in power beyond Tinubu’s second term and called for efforts to consolidate the party's position nationwide.

Yari's appointment as Director-General was announced on Saturday, bringing significant political experience to the campaign.
