Bauchi PDP and APM Form Alliance for 2027 Elections

The Bauchi State chapters of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied People's Movement (APM) formalized an alliance on Sunday to ensure the electoral success of APM's gubernatorial candidate, Yakubu Adamu, in the 2027 general elections. The alliance was established during an event at the party's secretariat, where Rt Hon Danlami Ahm Kawul spoke about the partnership's goal to secure victory for their candidates, particularly in the gubernatorial race.

The alliance plans to embark on extensive grassroots campaigns across villages, towns, wards, and local government areas to mobilize support and canvass votes for their candidates. Kawul urged party members to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to participate in the elections and appealed to the youth to refrain from engaging in thuggery during the campaign period.

Senator Ibrahim Adamu Gumba commended the formation of the alliance, expressing confidence that it would enhance the chances of victory for their candidates. PDP leaders welcomed the alliance and pledged to work together to secure success in the 2027 elections.
