Edison Ehi Deni Denies ADC Political Plot Rumors

Edison Ehi Deni, the former Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State, issued a statement on Saturday dismissing rumors that he is involved in a political plot with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) regarding the 2027 deputy governorship. Deni described the reports as false and politically motivated, clarifying that posters circulating in public spaces suggesting his alignment with a former director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) were part of a mischief aimed at misleading the public and creating division within the state's political landscape.

He firmly denied any involvement in the alleged arrangements and emphasized that his name was used in campaign materials without authorization. Deni reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and expressed continued support for Governor Fubara, stating that Rivers State does not require rescuing from imaginary enemies.

He urged residents to ignore the propaganda and focus on collective progress within the state.
