Onyema Declares Last Senate Bid for 2027 Elections

Sir OAU Onyema, a candidate from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Enugu West Senatorial District, declared that he will not seek Senate nomination again after the 2027 elections if he fails to secure the nomination. This announcement marks his intention to make his final attempt to represent the people of the Enugu West Senatorial District.

Onyema has previously run for the Senate three times and has also been a candidate for the House of Representatives four times. He expressed disappointment at the NDC's failure to secure the nomination in previous attempts and indicated that he would not contest again unless he wins the desired representation for the people.

He emphasized that this would be his last effort to contest for the Senate, stating that he would not return to the race unless he is nominated.
