APC Chairman Eze Paul Ituma Threatens Opposition in Ebonyi

Eze Paul Ituma, the newly sworn-in Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, issued a stern warning to opposition political parties and their supporters regarding their involvement in political activities within the council area as the 2027 elections approach. In a viral video, Ituma, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), referred to the opposition as enemies and stated that they would only be welcomed if they were ready to submit to the ruling party's authority.

He emphasized that anyone attempting to operate against his interests could be declared persona non grata. Ituma articulated that politics is his business, and he would not tolerate any actions that could undermine his position.

He remarked, “Anyone who wants to put sand in my garri should not come close to Ohaukwu,” highlighting his commitment to maintaining control over the political landscape in the area. His comments have raised concerns regarding political rhetoric and potential threats to opposition parties ahead of the upcoming elections.
