Aisha Yesufu Warns Against INEC Technology for 2027 Elections

Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu has issued a warning to citizens regarding the technology used by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in preparation for the 2027 elections. In a statement shared on X, Yesufu expressed her distrust of INEC's technology, urging voters to remain vigilant at their polling units until the collation process concludes in Abuja.

She emphasized the necessity for citizens to closely observe the counting of votes and the recording of results on election day. Yesufu called for the monitoring of result sheets as they transition from polling units to ward, local government, and state collation centers before arriving in Abuja.

She insisted that no election officials or result sheets should be out of sight during this process, stating, “From the creeks to the deserts we will follow.” Yesufu's ultimate goal is to ensure that the votes of the people are accurately counted and reflected in the final results announced in Abuja.
