Masari Critiques ADC Leaders, Defends APC Popularity

Bello Masari, the former governor of Katsina State and chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made remarks mocking heavyweight members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during an event held at Eagle Square in Abuja. He stated that the APC is not intimidated by ADC members, including notable figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi, and former Osun Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Masari criticized the ADC for its past governance and accused the federal government, led by President Bola Tinubu, of ruining the economy and impoverishing Nigerians. He expressed confidence in the APC's popularity, citing that Nigerians would rate the party favorably.

Masari also mentioned that President Tinubu had recently urged the media to hold local government officials accountable, reflecting a sentiment he shares regarding governance and accountability.
