NDC Establishes 13-Man Structure for 2027 Elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is implementing a 13-man executive structure in every polling unit across Nigeria in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Senator Victor Umeh, representing Anambra Central, disclosed this initiative during an interview with ARISE NEWS.

He stated that this structure is designed to ensure that each polling unit has dedicated personnel, including polling booth executives, to facilitate the election process. Umeh emphasized the importance of having agents in every polling unit, noting that the party's appeal has attracted many candidates to contest in the upcoming elections.

He mentioned that the NDC has successfully fielded candidates for all contested positions in the 2027 elections, which will enhance the party's presence at the grassroots level. Additionally, Umeh is establishing a 20-man coordinator team in each polling unit to streamline the process of appointing polling agents.

He also highlighted the party's early preparations to ensure agents have access to polling-unit results on election day.
