NDC Prepares Nationwide Structure for 2027 Elections

On Friday, Anambra Central Senator Victor Umeh revealed that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is actively preparing for the 2027 presidential election by building a comprehensive nationwide structure. This initiative aims to ensure that the party has candidates for all elective positions, thereby enhancing its presence at polling units across Nigeria.

Umeh stated that having candidates in various constituencies would facilitate the mobilization of agents to protect votes. He emphasized that the NDC has successfully fielded candidates for all positions contested in the upcoming elections, which strengthens the party's representation at polling units.

Umeh also disclosed that the NDC has implemented a structure consisting of 13-man executives at each polling unit to bolster its presence during the elections. This structure, referred to as Polling Booth Executives, is being developed nationwide to ensure that every polling unit has dedicated agents on election day.
