NNPP Uploads Presidential and NASS Candidates for 2027

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) announced the upload of its presidential candidate and 365 National Assembly candidates, including placeholders, to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal. This process aligns with electoral guidelines and will continue until August 8, 2026, allowing for substitutions and replacements.

NNPP National Chairman Agbo Major confirmed the restoration of the party's original logo on the INEC portal after a legal dispute regarding the party's leadership. He urged members to remain united and mobilize for upcoming elections.

Major disclosed that the party uploaded 365 National Assembly candidates across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with placeholders used in some constituencies until substantive candidates are identified. He emphasized the significance of these uploads as a strengthening of the party's structures and readiness for leadership in Nigeria.

The upload of governorship and State House of Assembly candidates is also in progress, with a completion deadline set for August 8.
