Adeleke Commits 1.5M Votes for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

On August 31, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke assured the All Progressives Congress (APC) of his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid, aiming to deliver approximately 1.5 million votes from Osun State. This assurance was communicated by APC National Secretary Ajibola Basiru following a closed-door meeting with Adeleke at the Osun State Government House in Osogbo.

Basiru stated that Adeleke's support extends beyond mere endorsement, as he has committed to actively campaign for Tinubu. The meeting, which lasted about one hour, included notable attendees such as Osun State Commissioner for Information Kolapo Alimi and the governor's spokesperson Olawale Rasheed.

Basiru's visit had three primary objectives: to return a condolence visit after the death of his mother, congratulate Adeleke on his recent governorship election victory, and express gratitude for Adeleke's endorsement of Tinubu. Basiru emphasized the importance of translating Adeleke's support into votes for the President.
