ADC Chieftain Claims PDP Operates Within APC Ahead of 2027

In an interview with Channels Television, Simon Achuba, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has a branch within the All Progressives Congress (APC). He emphasized that despite the number of governors in the APC, the party is not representative of the Nigerian populace.

Achuba believes that the APC is playing a crucial role in uniting opposition parties as they prepare for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Meanwhile, Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State and chairman of the Progress Governors Forum, addressed journalists during a meeting held in Lagos, where he insisted that existing zoning arrangements must remain in place for political offices ahead of the national convention.
