Pantami: No Election Rigging in Gombe State, PDP Stands Firm

On Wednesday, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), addressed party members in the Nafada Local Government Area of Gombe State, asserting that no one can manipulate election results in the state.

He warned that the PDP will not accept any form of electoral rigging during the upcoming 2027 governorship elections. Pantami emphasized the need for a fair and transparent electoral process and encouraged residents to participate in the voting process without intimidation.

He criticized the current governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for failing to improve the living conditions of the residents, alleging that government contracts benefit only a small group of people. Pantami urged the PDP to focus on issues during their campaign rather than insults and confrontations, expressing confidence that the party would defeat the APC in the upcoming elections.
