Wike Warns Opposition on 2027 Presidential Aspirations

Wike made these remarks on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Bwari water supply network, which also commemorated the commissioning of the 50th project since President Bola Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023. He criticized the opposition for thinking they could simply declare their intentions without the necessary groundwork, stating that becoming president is not a matter of making loud political statements.
