Archbishop Fape Advises Adeola on Governance Priorities

Most Revd Dr Michael Olusina Fape, the Archbishop of Lagos Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Remo, urged Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election, to prioritize security, unity, and the welfare of the people if elected. During a meeting on Tuesday, Fape emphasized the importance of peace and unity for the state's development, particularly given Ogun's status as a gateway state.

He called for a robust security architecture and collaboration among various security agencies. Fape also highlighted the need for Adeola to focus on human capital development, advocating for increased investment in education, healthcare, and vocational training.

He advised Adeola to appoint competent individuals in his administration and involve religious organizations in governance. In response, Adeola expressed gratitude for the support and assured that his administration would foster religious harmony and meet the people's expectations, referencing his previous record as a senator and outlining his ITESIWAJU Agenda.
