AI App Launched to Support Tinubu's 2027 Campaign

On Wednesday, Gunu Usman, the founder of Lyt24 Technology, launched an artificial intelligence application called Bat Bot AI in Abuja. This initiative is designed to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The app aims to combat the rapid spread of misinformation, disinformation, and hate speech that could undermine the electoral process. Bat Bot AI functions as a civic information platform, allowing users to verify claims and access accurate information regarding government policies and initiatives.

It operates 24/7 and is accessible through various digital platforms, including WhatsApp and Telegram. The application is intended to strengthen Nigeria's digital information ecosystem and promote transparency while safeguarding democratic engagement.

Usman emphasized the importance of addressing the challenges posed by fake news in the current digital landscape, which significantly influences public perception and electoral outcomes.
