Wike Warns Nigerians Against ADC and NDC in 2027 Elections

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, warned Nigerians not to consider the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as their "Messiah" in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. During a monthly media chat, Wike expressed concerns over the ADC's failure to conduct transparent primary elections, which he claimed did not satisfy presidential aspirants.

He criticized the ADC and NDC for their lack of transparency during their congresses, stating that the ADC's coalition would not strengthen democracy. Wike accused both parties of deceiving the public, asserting that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a "dead party" and the All Progressives Congress (APC) is "rotten." He emphasized that the Nigerian populace should not be misled by the promises of these parties, labeling their presidential aspirants as "liars" and "criminals of the highest order.".
