INEC Reveals 19 Candidates for 2027 Presidential Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of 19 presidential candidates cleared to contest the 2027 presidential election. This list includes President Bola Tinubu, who is seeking re-election under the All Progressives Congress (APC), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar contesting under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi representing the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) with running mate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Atiku's running mate is Rotimi Amaechi. Other candidates include Donald Duke of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress (AAC).
